This monograph is the first attempt at more systematic mapping of stories of FAMU graduates who attended the Academy in the 1960s and entered the film industry during the first years of normalization. Thirteen interviews with the representatives of this "lost generation" (e.g. Moris Issa, Angelika Hanauerová, Edgar Dutka, or Daniela Fischerová) bring unique personal memories of era from the 1960s to the 1990s. Introductory historiographic study puts the stories into wider historical and institutional context.
