This bilingual anthology of analyses by Czech and Austrian film historians contains studies of four Czech and four Austrian movies chosen from production between the years 1932 and 1936. The second part of the publication is formed from a large paper on inner situations and mutual relations of both national film industries during the period which was – in all respects – filled with dramatic events. Besides this the book also includes listing of abbreviations, or registers of names, movies, film companies, societies, and authorities.
