The anthology of texts by an important Czech film publicist, historian and teacher Galina Kopaněva. This book presents author's publication activity in a whole range and it also emphasizes particular themes and fields of her long-term interest. The articles are united into sections according to the countries they are dealing with and the mosaic is supplemented by interviews with Czech and foreign artists. The final part then contains interviews with Kopaněva herself. Whole book is interconnected by author's approach to cinematography which should – according to her view – reflect actual social situation.
